The company, based in sunny Valencia, has established itself as an international leader in real-time audio entertainment and sonic identities, with the USA as the main market while investing to launch mobile applications, work on existing technologies, and further its expansion into the Asian market.

 Since they are constantly growing there are many technological challenges ahead: creating a new cross-platform Desktop application (MacOs, Windows, Linux), building a scalable and robust application for millions of users, creating new product verticals where there will be many greenfield projects and so on. 

Voicemod creates sound effects that can take gamers and content creators anywhere and allow them to become anyone or anything. Because everybody should be able to express themselves creatively through sound without limits! 

WHAT IS GOING TO BE YOUR MISSION THERE?

The Senior C++ Engineers are divided into three squads: audio, platform and OS.

If your vocation is the world of audio processing, as a Senior C++ Engineer in the audio squad you will be responsible for the design, implementation and optimization of audio processing real time routines. You'll take assignments from DSP and AI audio experts on the requirements specification level, propose a design to make them reality according to good practices standards, and implement them keeping a constant eye on minimizing computational load and latency.

If you are interested in app development, you'll will work in the platform squad, where you'll build customer-centric software products and features. As a Sr Software Engineer you will understand the business, the product and the end-user problems, and in partnership with the Product Manager and the rest of the Engineering team, you will find lasting solutions.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?

They will automatically fall in love with you if you have:

• Professional experience as C++ developer for at least 5 years.
• A knowledge of the language's latest standards and the willingness to keep yourself up to date with the latest developments.
• Expertise on object oriented design, design patterns, and good programming practices.
• Experience optimizing high computational load processes at low level and working in multi-thread environments.
• Proficiency with version control (Git), continuous integration, unit testing tools and cross-platform build systems (CMake).

They would also really really like you to have:

• Experience in a product company and / or startup.
• Knowledge of the gaming sector: you enjoy knowing everything about Gaming, Content Creation Economy, etc.
• Experience working in real-time low latency audio applications

HOW IS THE HIRING PROCESS GOING TO BE?

• 1st step: A 1h video call with their Engineering lead to align job expectations and assess technical knowledge and previous experience.
• 2nd step: You will have a Live Coding sesion with two members of the team.
• 3rd step: Interview with Hiring Manager to finish getting to know you.
